Learner Drivers
We specialise in 'L' Driver training to driving test standard and beyond.
Courses are structured around the official DSA Syllabus and will be tailored to your specific needs. Everyone learns at their
own pace, having different abilities, needs and confidence levels. Whether you are a complete beginner, or have done some
driving before - we can help you to pass your driving test and gain confidence and skill on the road.
An initial lesson would establish your current level of ability, your requirements,
needs and aspirations. From there the lessons would be structured so you get the most out of your training, with a view to
getting you ready for the test.
A typical training course would last somewhere between 20 and 40 hours total
(depending on ability) and would cover (amongst other things) the following subjects:
- Cockpit Drill and Use of Controls, Mirrors
- Moving Off and Stopping (Level, Angled, Hills), changing gear
- Emergency Stop
- Junctions and Crossroads
- Roundabouts
- Dual Carriageways
- Meeting and Dealing with Other Traffic and Hazards
- Hazard Perception, Observation, Anticipation and Planning
- Manoeuvres - Turn in The Road, Left Reverse, Parallel Park/Bay Park
We will not try to sell you more lessons than you need to have, but will
be honest about the amount of training required. As an independent driving school we are not pressured into sales targets
and minimum numbers of hours.
Theory Preparation
Theory and Hazard Perception training is included as part of your training.
As well as in car theory training, we can supply relevant mock test papers, CDROMs and DVD's. In fact all the help you need
to pass these tests will be provided.
