Aims and Objectives

• The principal aim of the Beaumont Cambridge group is to encourage and make provision for social activities for the Transgender community and their partners in the Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
• The group also provide a point of first contact and support for those venturing out for the first time in the Transgender community and who wish to take advantage of the group events to extend their social contact in their preferred gender role.
• When appropriate the group will also endevour to portray a positive image of the Transgender community in order to promote greater understanding and tolerance in society at large.
