I have been country and hill walking since the late 1970s (I was a late starter!); since I retired in 2004 I've been
blessed with energy and enthusiasm to continue. The following pages reflect my interest in walking and sketching. As for my
sketching, I don't claim to be an artist, I just like to try and capture a moment in time to remind me of my holidays and
the walks that I do particularly in Lincolnshire and the Lake District. It would be easier with a digital camera but not as
rewarding for me.
I walk with fellow Christians from the Celebration Christian Fellowship Church based here in Grimsby as
well as with members of my family and it is nice to have the younger children wanting to join in. More
pages with sketches and photographs will be added as time goes by and I will try to improve my sketches!
