I’ve had a long association with sketching and painting
and, although I have never attained a high level of skill, I do enjoy the relaxing hobby. Those of you who know and love the Lakes will, I hope, recognise some of the places, if only by the fact
that I name them! Some have already been ‘aired’ in my ‘Lake District Walks’, however, for those of
you who have no interest in walking but would like to look at my feeble attempts at sketching, here is your chance!

This unusual shaped Barn can be seen in Wain Lane, Troutbeck and is near Middlerigg Tarn, close to Windermere.
