My name is David Lown, MA, and I am a writer and art historian from Cambridge, England. I am also the director of Roma Antica, a cultural association, which organises private tours of Rome, Florence, Venice

My experience of introducing people to the cultural treasures of Italy goes
back many years. While working as a lecturer in art history, I led numerous groups on study tours of Rome, Florence,
Venice and other cities of historical importance in central and northern Italy. In 2001, I decided to settle here permanently.
