Jenny Ronayne, PGDip Counselling and Psychotherapy (Integrative),
BSc (Hons), MBACP
Jenny is Child Mental Health
Worker on the national specialist team on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the Maudsley Hospital. Her work here includes setting up and speaking at training programmes for parents
and professionals, advising and supporting adults with ASD, taking part in clinical research projects, visiting schools and
advising other professionals on ASD. Jenny has produced a parent pack of information for parents whose children have received
a diagnosis of ASD.
After being awarded an honours degree in Psychology in 1998, Jenny worked with a research psychologist investigating
cognitive functioning in children with ASD before joining the Maudsley team.
Jenny has worked as autism advisor
to a special school and a children’s charity as well as ASD specialist trainer for a mental health training practice
and as a consultant with Tribal Education, designing a model of inclusion for ASD in mainstream schools for a London borough.
Jenny has set up ASPECT (Autism Spectrum Counselling
and Training) to provide training and consultancy in the understanding and management of Autism Spectrum Disorders. ASPECT runs seminars and workshops in London for teachers, support assistants,
social workers, mental health professionals and all who work with or care for those with ASD. All trainers are specialists
in the field. ASPECT also offers in-house training tailored to the requirements of the client.
Jenny also has a post-graduate
diploma in counselling and psychotherapy (integrative) and offers ASD-appropriate counselling and therapy to individuals with
ASD, couples and other family members. Jenny plans to complete her Masters Degree this year - an investigation into alleviating
anxiety in individuals with ASD.
For some years Jenny chaired the National Autistic Society’s London Regional Forum and is herself
the parent of a young adult with high-functioning autism. Jenny has over 15 years' experience of working with ASD, setting
up a local support group, counselling parents, giving practical advice and guidance on communication, educational provision
and approaches to understanding and managing problematic behaviours.

Dr Katingo Giannoulis
has been working in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) for over 10 years. She is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist,
working both in the Health Service (at the National Specialist ASD Service based at the Michael Rutter Centre, Maudsley Hospital) and in
private practice.
Prior to specialising
in ASD, Katingo worked in a paediatric community child development team and she has also worked with adults with learning
difficulties. Her current role in the Autism and Related Disorders team at the Maudsley Hospital
includes providing specialist neurocognitive assessments of the young people referred to the Service as well as psychological
treatment. She is particularly interested in developing and adapting the cognitive-behaviour model of therapy for use with
people with ASD who also have co-morbid mental health problems (e.g. depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive
disorder, fears and phobias etc.)
Katingo offers
consultation and training to school staff, as well as behaviour management input to parents and professionals working with
both children and adults who present challenging behaviours. She has been actively involved in organising and running group
treatments for young people with ASD, including social skills training and, more recently, has developed a group treatment
initiative for boys with ASD who are bullied in mainstream school. This is currently being evaluated. She also offers consultation
to colleagues and runs a regular ASD specialist supervision group for psychologists working in community services; this is
a forum whereby recent research and clinical developments within ASD are discussed and psychologist colleagues can present
cases for discussion and consultation.

Penny Williams & Sam Lister, Specialist Speech & Language Therapists
Penny and Sam are currently working for an inner London Primary Care Trust. Both have extensive experience
in the diagnosis of ASD’s. Providing outreach and intervention with children and young people with Asperger’s
Syndrome across all settings including the challenges of working with these individuals in mainstream schools.

Patrizia Collard PhD,
Diploma Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy,
Stress management, Drug and ALCOHOL Studies, Core Energy Management Coach
Dr Patrizia Collard is a Psychotherapist, Trainer and Coach and works with organizations,
groups or individuals. Patrizia offers a unique combination of professional qualifications and personal experience, and understands
the destructive impact of stress and how it can be responsible for addictive and obsessive behaviour and increased anxiety.
Patrizia has worked for many years as a university lecturer, work-shop leader and
actress, all roles in which the ability to communicate ideas is critical and essential - she enjoys teaching and being part
of the learning experience.
Patrizia works
as a Multi Modal (Integrative) Counsellor, Trainer, Coach and Therapist - she incorporates a large variety of techniques and
approaches into her work, applying the best treatment to each client. She uses cognitive behavioural therapy, rational emotive
behaviour therapy, core energy management, existential therapy, drama therapy, yoga and meditation, relaxation and self-hypnosis
and last but not least MBSR and MBCT (mindfulness approaches). She is a member of many governing bodies (BABCP, UKCP, ISMA,
Association for Coaching, Austrian Association for Behaviour Therapy, Institute for Health Promotion and Education, Obsessive
Action and The Scientific and Medical Network) and is therefore always in touch with current developments in her fields of
expertise.

David takes care of the day-to-day running of this developing company: Liasing with clients and attendees, keeping
accounts, managing databases, conducting mailouts, organising training days and trying his best to look after the trainers!
