WHAT THE FOC HAVE DONE SO FAR

BRAVE LITTLE TROOPER… ON HOLIDAY IN CORNWALL

Little Chandler and his family enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Cornwall…

This was the first time Chandler had been in the sea, and it looks like he had a great time… Also mum ,dad and his brothers, also got to spend some quality time together.Chandler still faces another operation, and this will mean he will be in plaster for a few months. So the holiday came at just the right time.

All this was made possible by the FOC… Starting off with the Fan Dance back in May. Then onto the Pegasus and the Trafalgar and many many more individuals, helped to make this possible. It goes without saying but:

We raised £3.500.00 for Chandler and his family. The rest of the money will go towards fitting a special ramp in the family car. This will mean Chandler can go on family outings with all of the family…

To be honest back in May, I never thought we could pull this off: But we did with the help of "Airborne Spirit" if I said to Madge once, I must have said it hundred times…"What if no one shows up" Well they did, and now its onto the next good cause…

BRAVE LITTLE TROOPER APPEAL

The F O C have raised £3.500.00 to help send little Chandler and his family on a holiday…You all know the story about little Chandler… He is four years old and disabled , so far he’s fought many battles and never gives up… He always got a smile on his face and we can all learn something from him… He’s also brought together many Airborne Brothers that had lost touch and he is an inspiration to us all. We wish Chandler and his mum and dad all the best and hope they have a great holiday…Also Thanks to all that have helped us with this appeal… from all at the F O C

So far this year we have donated three internet ready computers, we held the big fund raiser in Brecon ( Pen-Y_Fan) this was done in memory of Mike Bloss, who was murdered out in Iraq: We have bought a Memorial Bench, in memory of those who lost their lives at Warren Point, this is situated in the Military Cemetery in Aldershot:

We have also done the Winter appeal, where we handed out thousands of leaflets about the web site:

We have maintained the web site and the 24 hour contact number.

We also kept the traditional Airborne Forces Weekend going in full swing, and at the right place ALDERSHOT…

On the welfare side of things, we have been there to offer help and support and practical advice:

The latest addition to this Web Site are the Close Protection Pages, with well over 600 members and gaining more each day.

The F O C is not even two years old and just see what we have achieved and we are getting bigger and better all the time and its all down to you…. So Thank You for all your support:
