Situated in the heart of Perthshire, Glen Cottage is a charming house ideally located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, 7 miles west of Crieff and 20 miles north of Stirling, Comrie is a beautiful village and an ideal base for exploring Perthshire and further afield.

There are numerous outdoor activities close to the cottage

 

  • Sailing and other watersports on Loch Earn
  • Ben Chonzie – the lowest (and easiest) Munro in Scotland
  • Drummond Fish farm – good for children but take your Visa card as you pay for all fish caught!
  • Melville monument – a good walk with great views over Comrie and Strathearn
  • The Deil’s Cauldron gentle circular walk
  • Comrie golf course – typical 9 hole highland course

The River Earn runs through the centre of the village which is overlooked by the distinctive White Church built in 1804.
