This song was inspired by several friends of mine who I feel are angels. Not in the sense
that they are just good people, but really that they are angels incarnate in human form.
I wrote this song in about 20 minutes one morning. That afternoon, I had a recording session
with the Flute Girl (FG) and Jon Barker (JB) at Vicki's house in Bishops Stortford. We jammed through several songs
and were recording as we went. On this track I had "heard" chelo whilst I was writing it and Vicki agreed. Though
not a confident player on this instrument, she did a great job - it gives a hauting sound to the recording as does her irish
flute solo. I completed the recording at Wethersfield by adding some additional guitar parts, vocals and the FG came
around one sunny afternooon and put on her beautiful harmony vocals.
This song has become such a powerful initiatory tool in transmitting the essence of Turiya's
message - thus we put it as the lead track on the CD. Ultimately it is saying we are the light of the angels!!
