What's so Special about Special?

HEY Girls!
WELCOME to Special magazine! It's been produced especially for you, if you are aged 8 - 14 years old. You'll
always find something in Special that is relevant and interesting to you!
Question: When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see a
girl with purpose, a girl created by God for GOOD things, with a good future? Special wants to help you realise how SPECIAL
you are!
When you know how much God loves you and thinks you are Special,
you'll walk proud, and talk with a new attitude! When you know how much God gave to make you Special, you won't settle
for an ordinary life. You were made to be extra-ordinary, not because of your
looks or talents or whether you come from a wealthy home or have two parents instead of one or none. Those things are temporary.
The reason you are SPECIAL is because you were uniquely created by God. There is no one else like you, even
if you are an identical twin. There will never be another you. God carefully and wonderfully designed you as you were growing in
your mother's womb. You are SPECIAL - Saved Purified Embraced Chosen Invited Accepted
Loved by God!
God wants you to enjoy your life here and now, but also to think about your future. The choices you
make now will affect your future, so it's best to make the right choices.

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm the editor
of Special. I felt really sad as I looked around at all the magazines aimed at young girls, because they mostly concentrated
on external temporary things, like beauty, fashion, sex and spending money.
I asked God to please get someone to produce a magazine that shows how to live life the best way, and I felt Him say "YOU
DO IT". So here it is!! I thoroughly enjoy producing Special and I have a great team working with me.

Special aims to help girls realise they are WORTH IT! Lots of girls have low self esteem and no sense of
where they are going in life, so they end up wanting to please the crowd, instead of finding out what unique, God-given lives
they have.

You can only make the right choices when you have all the correct information. Half the story can be disastrous! Like
the case of the morse code senders in a war. Due to the heavy fog, the message 'Defeated'
got through to the people. They were disheartened. BUT>>>>> The full message was really: 'Defeated the enemy' ! Special wants to help you make the right
choices for your life based on the correct and full information.
