When Sue first brought Luca on one of my training days I certainly would never have dreamt that I'd end up owning one of her
litter of nine puppies; inspiring she was not!
However, she has certainly made up for it since, and four of us (Sue, myself, Kath and Corinne) are now the proud owners
of our "Malis."
Two of the litter are, at a year old, already working police dogs and hopefully this page will keep you updated on our
progress. :-)
We would love to hear from anyone working Malinois in any competitve discipline, particularly if you're using operant
conditioning or other motivational methods.

| Luca't That WDex Sch2 |
Many thanks to Milos Kovac for all his help in starting us off on the right foot in, what is a new sport to us...we would
never have been able to manage without you!
Luca, Taco and Paris have all got as far as Sch2 and Quilla just missed out on her Sch2...although she did
get the joint best protection mark on the day!
Hopefully we'll all be going for our Sch3 qualifications later in the Year...and most exciting of all the patter
of tiny Powerpaws when Cindy has her first litter early in 2008.
Many congratulations to another member of "Team Powerpaws," John Johnson has not only gained his B.H with his young
Rottie Tinker, he's also won out of beginners Obedience and is looking good for a Sch1 before long...well done John and
Tinker! :-)
August 2006....Luca, Taco, Paris and Quilla qualify Sch1 at Malvern with Taco winning the "best track" trophy
and Paris taking "best protection."
The obedience is probably best forgotten...but you can't expect an obedience handler to get it right without a steward!

Many thanks to everyone at Malvern club for their support, especially George who has given us loads of encouragement to
make a start in the sport...we're all hoping you're fighting fit for 2007! ;-)

Although Bosh and Tesh are "Joefarm" puppies (by Devil out of Buvi) they have been brought up by Sue and Pete Beel
and they will be "Beckenberrys" ...many thanks for all your advice and observations Sue!
