Welcome to The Stables Accommodation.

We are situated one mile from Alton Towers in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands and at the foot of the Derbyshire Dales and The Peak District. Whether you are looking to enjoy the thrills of Alton Towers or the more sedate surroundings of our beautiful countryside The Stables is a great base for your holiday.

The Stables dates back to the 17th Century and has recently undergone re-modernisation. We can accommodate up to 10 people as the building consists of two seperate self catering holiday apartments.

Each apartment has:

  • Lounge/Diner
  • T.V
  • Fully fitted kitchens with cookers, microwaves, toasters, dishwashers, kettles etc.
  • Bathrooms with double size showers
  • Double bedrooms and twin bedrooms
  • Central heating

 

We are situated in a tiny village called Cotton. The nearest shop is in the village of Alton (1.5 miles) and for those who don't wish to cook, The Star Inn does wonderful food and is located next door. The Star has a family room, beer garden and I can personally vouch for their collection of real ales!
 
 The Market Towns of Ashbourne, Leek and Cheadle are only a short drive away and if you fancy a day at the races then Uttoxeter is also close.
