Chris was arrested in January 1984 along
with fifteen other people on affray charges,and spent fourteen months on remand while the prosicution built their case. In
the event the other offenders were released and Chris was eventualy charged with MURDER and two section 18's. He was offered
a deal whereby if he admitted a manslaughter charge the two section 18's would be dropped and he would be given a jail
sentance of seven years. He refused on the grounds that he was not guilty of the stabbing and death of the victim, to which
he still maintains his innocence to this day.
His trial lasted four days, with a full jury.
Judge Hollins presided and Thomas Burke was Chris's defense lawyer, although he actualy
did not appear in court during the trial, and never conducted a defense. This was left to a solicitors clerk by the name of
Roger Leggit, who had never qualified as a solicitor. Thomas Burke was
eventualy struck off for witness intimidation and taking bribes and not too long after died of an alcohol related disease.
Roger Leggit is now a criminologist working for a firm of solicitors. The police who made the initial
arrest are named as DI Retford DI Prince and DCI Cadman. Of course
Chris was found guilty. He was sentanced to life imprisonment and two four year sentances for the two section 18's to run
concurrently. His original tarrif was twelve years. Chris is at present eight years over his tarrif.
Witnesses for the defense were never called, he was never
formaly identified as the culprit, the evidence presented was a blood spot on a penknife, which was somehow destroyed before
the trial. The forensic evidence showed that the murder weapon was a larger and longer knife than the one that was presented
as evidence and then mysteriously destroyed.
Even the trial transcripts and judges notes are apparently untracable, we have been told they
do not exist, there is apparently no record of a trial ever having taken place. The public records office in Kew have
denied all knowledge of their whereabouts. How can this be? Where is the proof that Chris should even be in jail?
Corrupt police officers have been promoted, the bent solicitor that ran the defense is dead,
the judge whose comments and direction nailed the lid on the coffin of Chris's life is now senile but still judging people.

Dr Geoffrey Garratt who identified the murder weapon
has been discredited for incompetance in relation to another case. Namely the KEVIN CALLAN case.(follow
the link above to read this article) It is thought he is now retired. Appeal after appeal has been rejected, even the much
lauded new system the C.C.R.C have rejected his last appeal, all we hear is 'no new evidence' but we cant even find the old
evidence. Some one somewhere is keeping Chris in jail for their own corrupt reasons. All will be revealed on this page very
soon. Some one somewhere should be very afraid, they will soon be exposed.
Over the years more and more ridiculous exuses for denying parole have been used against
Chris. Non culpability is one, you deny your guilt and they say you have no remorse, therefore you are dangerous and not fit
for release, but we have a letter from Jack Straw the then home secretary stating that this is an illegal move and insisting
on ones innocence is not a valid reason for being denied parole. This exuse has been used on Chris three times in spite
of the home office directive. Chris has been brainwashed into believing he has severe drug and violence problems which have
in turn been used as more exuses for his continuing incarceration. Chris has never been addicted to hard drugs, although
he has smoked cannibis occasionaly. Chris has never been violent to any other prisoner or officer, though he has been repremanded
for minor infractions and mild rebellion when he has felt frustrated beyond his tolerance.
Oddly enough, Chris works outside the prison five days a week and never touches cannibis,
also when he is on home leave he never touches it, it's only when inside the prison and it all gets a bit much that Chris
has ever smoked a joint. Some connection there maybe?
After fourteen years of further education whilst in prison Chris achieved a B.A.Hons in fashion
and design, and became a very talented artist. As you can see from the paintings on this page Chris has displayed a rare gift.
Very soon Chris has another parole application coming up, within a week we will know if he has
been granted a chance to have his life back.
He has been labeled a killer, but where is the proof?
The witnesses did not identify him-the forensic evidence is conveniently 'lost' and there was
apparently never even a trial held on those dates at Manchester Crown Court. Some one has collected thousands of pounds in
legal aid funds and corrupt people have been promoted on the back of a case which seemingly does not exist.
A man died, another man has had his life taken from him. The real killer is free and walking the streets
of Salford. .
