Since splitting with 808 State Nicky formed the Dust Junkys along with guitarist Steve O'J and Miky Wilson on drums,
swoon effect was provided by lead guitarist Sam Brox ( son of Victor ) and decks and effects by Ganiyu Gaspar.
A hit album, Done and Dusted came from this union and the band were immensely popular although
sadly did not have a chance for a second album due to disputes with their record company.
Since the Dust Junkys Nicky has worked with Fatboy slim and a Guy Called Gerald as well as more recently
DJ Kasanova and Alabama 3 whose new album as yet unnamed is due out later in the year. The track Nicky is working on is called
ADRENALIN which will feature Nicky's gritty vocals. The latest tune to have you rocking in your shoes is BOUNCE

REVIEW
The 'Re-union One Off' gig at the roadhouse on 19th December 2003 was well recieved with a full
to capacity house and riotous applause.
A selection of old and new had the crowd rocking, with Tunes himself commenting that he was suprised
everyone knew the words.
After a shaky start because, as Tunes explained, they had not played together for almost
five years, the band soon got into their stride, with much on stage banter and jocularity.
Sam Brox gave out a spectacular display as with shirt off and glistening torso (see our
gallery for more of the Bronzed One ) he gave the 'Studmuffin' performance the ladies loved him for.( His guitar playing wasnt
bad either)
Stevie and Miky had their crowd well in control as Miky came up with a drum solo to be proud
of while DJ Master Wong filled Ganiyu's shoes with pride, though sadly missed no one could forget Ganiyu's rightful place
in the Dust junkys as Tunes paid tribute to the scratchmaster Gee.
Unfortunately for die hard fans it is unlikely that there will ever be a repeat of this
long delayed 'Farewell' performance much as we would wish it, but in these pages there will be more news and gossip on the
guys and there antics, so come again, and soon.

STEVE O'JAY and MASTER WONG @ the Roadhouse.
Steve hatched the plot for the re-union gig at least a year before the
plan came to fruition. Thanks as well to KATY MOUNTAIN the lovely proprietor of the Road house for all her efforts and the
use of her premises. The Roadhouse is available for hire for private parties and theme nights for a reasonable fee. Contact
Katy on 'mountainkate@hotmail.com' for details.
