![]() Painting holidays:
We offer painting holidays for artists who wish to paint in our studio or use it as a base for painting in the surrounding

Bed & Breakfast Facilities: Guests
have exclusive use of the self-contained accommodation, which
comprises two first floor bedrooms, one double and one single, sharing adjacent private facilities, and their own sitting
room in the parlour on the ground floor. We do not let the accommodation to separate people, so guests do not have to share
the facilities with strangers. The Cottage has Digital TV/DVD/video in the parlour with a good
selection of videos and DVDs, along with a small library. There are clock-radios in each bedroom, and tea and coffee-making
facilities are provided along with a refrigerator to keep milk fresh. On arrival, guests are welcomed with tea
and home-made cake, and a full English breakfast is provided which is made using fresh, local produce. The
Cottage is fully centrally-heated and in winter there is an open fire in the parlour. In warmer months, guests
can enjoy the private courtyard garden. Off-road parking and secure cycle storage are available. For guests arriving by car, there is unrestricted
street parking right outside the front door. Location: Chapel Cottage is situated in the High Street in the attractive village of Yoxford. We are within walking distance
of all the village amenities and well away from and out of earshot of the busy A12. The Cottage is
midway between Norwich and Ipswich and at the head of the scenic A1120 Tourist Route, and it is ideally situated for
touring the East Anglian Heritage Coast. The nearest railway station is Darsham, on the Lowestoft to
London, Liverpool Street, line and is about a mile and a half from Chapel Cottage. We can meet and take guests
to and from the station if they so wish. Please note: We regret that owing to the age and nature of the property it is not suitable
for guests who are confined to wheel chairs, or those with mobility problems, or for children under seven years old.
We do not accept pets, guide dogs excepted - please give prior notice. A copy of our Access statement is
available on request. We are a
