GBrFactor F1 Stock Car Rules and Regulations.
The League will use the F1 Stock car mod which can be downloaded from here-;
Make sure you have the 3 versions and unzipped in order, V1.0/V1.1 Then V1.2, Otherwise you get get
a mismatch on the server.
The rFactor server is called GBrFactor F1 , The server is not up 24/7 as it is used for other sims , but will be up often
and for all of Saturday before the meetings start and will be unpassworded for that period.
The Server will be passworded at race time and the password will be given in mIRC chat prior to the meeting starting.

You will for the begining be allocated a car from those listed untill such time as we have our own skins availible.
You
will be graded in one of the following
White-Novice and beginers
Yellow- Experienced
Blue-3rd grade
Red- Star grade
Gold- World
champion 'Super star'
Black/White Chequered-British Champion 'Super Star'
Red/Yellow Chequered-European
Champion 'Super Star'
Silver National points Champion.

Explaination of Special Titles
World Champion
The WCQR races the points from these meetings are taken and the top drivers who score the most points will be divided
into 2 Semi Finals, the driver with most points gets to choose the start side and which Semi final he wishes to race
in, 2nd highest points chooses start side
for the other Semi .
The drivers then will allocated a Semi in points
order.There is no graded start in this race . The grids will be in the printed order. Anyone who does not book in for this
meeting will be replaced by the next highest scorer.Who will take a place at the back of the grid.
National Points Champion
The National Points Champion is the driver with the most points
at the end of a season
European Champion
The European Champion is the winner of that
meeting
World of Shale
The W.o.S races points will be added up the top 16 will race for the Title
in points order in the first race. The rest of the meeting will runs as normal , Heats, Consi, Final , GN'S in which
anyone can enter including the W.o.S Finalists.
British Championship
The meeeting is as normal with each driver getting 3 heats the top 22 will make the final
in points order from the heats .
The World/British/European/and Points champions will be automatic Star grade (red), regardless of thier grade when winning
the titles.
Those Drivers who join us from UKDirt will retain any current grade they hold there at that start of our Season, From
then on our own grading will be used for GBF1SC (GB F1 Stock Car) races.
Use of a skin will come at a later date for now
they will be allocated from the present list.
Race
Each meeting will have the following races Starting at 19.30 hrs GMT.
2/3 heats you will run in any 2 out of
3.
Meeting Format
Drivers will NOT be allowed to request specific race allocation - i.e. you get what you are given as far as heats, consolations
and grand nationals are concerned.
The format for most meetings will be the same and will be as follows :
Each driver
will race in 2 or 3 heats. The top 16 points scorers will automatically qualify for the Final. If there is a tie for the last
qualifying place(s) then those who placed in a higher position in their heat will have preference. If the drivers still cannot
be separated drivers best lap times will be considered.
The rest of the drivers will race in a consolation race (the number of drivers attending the meeting will determine whether
there will be 1 or 2 consolation races). 4 drivers will qualify for the Final.
There will then be 20/21 drivers for the Grand Final or ‘A’ Final. The next 20 drivers taken from the list
of finishers from the consolation races will form a 'B' Final. The number of cars qualifying for the final may change at any
point.
‘B’ Finals will be run as non-official races if there are less than 12 cars in the race, hence no points
will be scored in this race. The B Final winner will also go to the final.
Each driver will then race a Grand National race.
We reserve the right to alter the number of competitors in any
race. They will be determined by the number of drivers booked to race. We also reserve the right to alter the meeting format,
again this will be determined by the number of drivers booked to race.
The points scheme is:
Heats:10, 9, 8, 7, 6,
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1
Consi's: Non-scoring
Grand Final: 25, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4
'B' Final: 4, 3, 2,
1, 1, 1 (no points scored where there are less than 12 cars in the race)
GN's (if 2 races are run): 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6,
5, 4, 3, 2
GN's (if 3 races are run): 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 ,2
Drivers must complete 75% of the race to qualify
for points.
Racing direction is anti-clockwise.
The winner of the meeting Final may start with a lap handicap (blue,
red or superstar grade drivers) by lining up in front of the white top drivers, or start with a half lap handicap (yellow
or white grade drivers) by lining up behind the superstar drivers, and will score double points if taking this handicap. In
2009, any driver has the option of taking the handicap.
If he/she chooses not to take the handicap, they will only score
single points. They will have to start at the back of their normal grade as they have won a race in the meeting.
If any
of the Grand National's cannot be run on race night for technical reasons, ALL Grand National results will be declared null
and void.
Heats will consist of no more than 16 cars
Consolation Race open to all who have not yet made the final, .
B
Final for those left who are not in the A final, the winner joins the A final
A Final
GN 'S depending on numbers.
The
B final only scores is 12 or more take part.
Heats and consolations and GN'S will be 16 laps
B Final will be 20 Laps
A Final will be 20 Laps
There will be a booking thread started for each round which be open till 6.00pm on Friday. After which time a list
of starters and the grids for the Heat, GN's will be posted.
The heat you are allocated can not be changed, as each heat
race takes between 6 an 10 minutes, the need to keep the meeting going is imperative. I will not wait for missing drivers,
however a bit of leeway will be given to allow connection.
The World/British/European Championships will be run differently , these will be noted later if we have enough cars racing.
Start Procedure
When the start procedure does the hooter to start a race you will take off and position your selves in your start position
according to your grade. When the steward see all are in position he will ask 'are you ready'. If you are not type 'No', when
you are ok type 'Ready'.
At this point be ready to roll, the command 'OK roll at 30 mph' will come from the steward the
lead white top will control a pace of 30 mph and all the other grades will keep the distance from the grade in front.
Grids
are 2X2
When the leading Whites hit the exit of T4 they can accelerate WHEN THE GOOOOOOOOO is signaled and the
race starts.
Whites will line up at the start line except those with a closed grid in the order they arrive at the start. Yellow will
line up at the exit of T4 at least two car lengths fron the last White.
Blues at least 2 car lengths from the last Yellow
in T4.
Reds 3/4 of the way down the straight between T2 & T3.
Super Stars in the middle of the straight between
T2 & T3
Any false starts will be penalised after the race the race will not be restarted unless a major server failure
accures.
This means a 16 lap race will have 18 laps set to account for the 2 extra laps. The formation Lap and rolling lap.
Driving Standard and penalties.
This is a contact sport rear end bumper to bumper is allowed , what is not is the following.
A take out when going
in the wrong direction.
Fencing- Ie forcing another competitor into the outside fence or the inside tyres/barrells etc.
Driving
into another competitor from the infield.
Deliberate attacks on any perticular driver , this will be watched from the replays
and any reports that are recieved will be actioned.
Etiquette and Driving Rules
You must travel in the correct driection at all times'anticlockwise'.
The
infield is use for parking up only.
Corner cutting is not allowed.
Aggresive driving is forbidden there is a difference
between using your bumper and ramming.
No talking during the races, save appologies etc till chat.
No flaming on the
forums or in chat .
Any complaints on driving or cheating must be sent to the Admin 'poacher pete' or the Moderator . they
will look at he complaint and rule on it . thier decision is final and there is no appeal . this is to stop it dragging on
in finitem. Only E-Mail or PM will be accepted.
If your car is disabled please pull off into the infield clear of the track , deliberate track blocking will be penalised.
Penalties
can involved being forced to start from the back of your grade for a set period, or a race ban, be it one heat,Final,GN ,
to a set number of missed rounds, to a full ban .YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Booking
For each event there will be a booking in thread where you advise your intention to race, allowing the Admin to make
the grids up. Once you have said you are availible it is up to you to advise us of your non appearence before the event booking
thread is closed.
No penalty will be applied as long as we are informed of you non participation.
Spoilers
Those who enter and do not turn up for the event will be added to the spoiler
list after 3 spoiler listings you will be removed from the league. In exceptional circumstances IE internet/PC failures beyond
your control you may be re-instated.
Championships
All race meetings will count for the points Championship and grading , the only meeting that wont are the World Championship
Final. However the other races at that meeting will count.
There will be 10 WCQR (World Championship Qualifying Rounds)
There will be one British Championship Meeting
There
will be 1 European Championship Meeting
There will be 2 World Championship Semi Finals
There will be 3 White/Yellow
only meetings'ie one heat is entirely White/Yellow
Providing numbers and time permits there will be a 4 race World of Shale
series.
