Agia Dinati mountain

View across the valley to Agia Dinati mountain

Valley View studio is situated in the countryside, in the tranquil village of Dendrinata that nestles on the southern side of Mount Kalon and whist enjoying the best of the sun it also boasts stunning views across the fertile valley to the impressive Agia Dinati Mountain.

It is also a superb location for those who enjoy the natural beauty that the Kefalonian countryside has to offer with its abundance of flowers especially in May, June and October and the majestic mountains clothed in fir trees the whole year round. There are numerous wild birds and animals to be seen, making this a perfect place for the visitor that has drawing, painting or photography as a hobby.

Close to Dendrinata there are also many quiet roads and tracks that make this an ideal spot for those who like walking in the countryside.

Its advantageous central position on the island makes it ideal for the independant traveller who wishes to hire a car and explore the wonderful scenery that not only Dendrinata and the Pylaros Valley have to offer but that of the whole of Kefalonia.

Within the village there are two kafenion where you can while away the time with the local people sipping a Greek coffee or Ouzo or perhaps a cooling beer, these kafenion also stock basic provisions for if you feel disinclined to venture further. There is also a public telephone at the bottom of the road.
