HOW TO SUPPORT US

Support can take the form of sponsorship for the entire 2005 programme, for a specific element of the programme (a musical, play or workshop), or for a specific aspect of production (eg lighting, costumes or set).

In return, we are able to offer to our supporters, among other benefits:

·        Publicity in the programme and marketing material for specific productions

·        Publicity in our glossy centenary programme and marketing, in use throughout the year, distributed throughout the City

·        Publicity, via logo, advertising space and/or weblinks on our website

·        Publicity via press coverage of our centenary effort

·        First refusal on the best seats in the house

·        Experienced cabaret act for your Christmas party or another occasion

·        Performers for your in-house children’s Christmas party

·        A gala champagne performance of one of our productions reserved for your staff and clients

·        An in-house performance of “The Merchant of Venice”, as part of our “Shakespeare in the City” series, exclusively for staff, clients and friends, raising money for the charity of your choice

·        The opportunity for children from a school or charity you support to attend and participate in a special rehearsal of one of our productions.

We are also happy to discuss any further ideas. For further information contact sponsorship@sedos.co.uk

SEDOS JUBILEE CHARITY FUND

Throughout its history the Society has been notable for its work raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities, particularly from 1923 onwards when the Help Yourself Society was founded as an offshoot of SEDOS – this was founded by Hugh Quekett and over the years distributed thousands of pounds to charities, particularly the London teaching hospitals before they were nationalised.  Help Yourself became a separate organisation, but SEDOS still continues to present productions for charities and to assist others with donations from the Jubilee Charity Fund.
