The Area 28 committee welcomes John Jacks as Area Representative for Norfolk and congratulates him on receiving Honorary Life Membership of British Showjumping. John has been involved with horses all of his life. A long standing Median Course Designer and Two Star Judge. He has also been a long standing member of British Showjumping Volunteer Network, being Area Representative for Norfolk while still working as Operations Manager for Air UK and was Regional Representative for Region Central East for 12 years. John also had a stint as Chairman of British Showjumping. As an ‘Intermediate Instructor’ he has taught numerous riders of all standards for many years and has encouraged many of his Pony Club and Riding Club pupils to join British Showjumping, and indeed his daughter competed for many years as do his two grandsons.

John has given many years of commitment and expertise to the Sport in so many different facets Norfolk welcomes him back as Area Representative.

The Norfolk British Showjumping Area committee is delighted that Tamsin Conyers from Weston Equestrian Centre has had her hard work, training and dedication recognised with accreditation as a British Showjumping Coach.

This has enabled junior members in Norfolk to join an Academy. The Academy aims to provide progressive coaching rather than one off training sessions, using experienced Accredited Coaches to significantly improve the riding skills and horse knowledge of the junior membership in order to make them more competitive in the sport of show jumping.

Training Sessions take place at Weston Equestrian Centre.  All the details can be found in the Junior Academy section of this web site.
