                        revival. Saul Rose from Waterson:Carthy on melodeon & vocals, Paul Sartin of Bellowhead

                       on fiddle, oboe & vocals, Benji Kirkpatrick of Bellowhead & Seth Lakeman Band as the

                       ‘fretboard wizard’, Pete Flood also of Bellowhead on percussion and James Fagan taking a

                       night off from his duo with Nancy Kerr on guitar. A great combination to start the year!

                   songs of life & love. Vocals, fiddle, flute, accordion, mandola, bouzouki & whistles. This

15          THE SALLY BARKER  BAND presents ‘THE JONI MITCHELL PROJECT’

           Singer/songwriter & Poozies member, Sally, has cherished a long-held ambition to  present  

              Joni Mitchell songs as close to their original form as possible hence this special show.

              Vocals, guitar, piano & dulcimer.

 

22     STEVE KNIGHTLEY & JENNA WITTS – This ‘Show of Hands’ musician is now

        rightly regarded as one of England’s finest singer/songwriters. We will be in for an evening  of

                literate, haunting songs played with power & passion. Steve will again be accompanied

        by West Country singer/songwriter Jenna Witts.

 1     KEN NICOL & ASHLEY HUTCHINGS – Ken has taken time out from his busy

             Steeleye  Span schedule to record an album – ‘Copper, Russet & Gold’ - with Albion Band, Fairport  

             & Steeleye founder member, Ashley. The show will be a mixture of songs from the new album

            with other traditional and contemporary material.

 

8     JACKIE OATES BAND – Winner of 2 BBC Awards in 2009 and nominated for 3 for 2010     

             including ‘Folk Singer of the Year’! Her band plays guitar, accordion, keyboards and double bass with

            Jackie on vocals, violin and viola.

 

15    CRAOBH RUA – This amazing Irish band have given us many great evenings! Ballads to          

           rousing reels – pipes, fiddle, whistles, banjo, guitar, mandolin & vocals.

 

22   ALY BAIN & PHIL CUNNINGHAM – Brilliant fiddle & accordion playing from these virtuoso 

         Scottish musicians plus the added bonus of Phil’s gripping humour!
