It is with huge regret, for various rasons but mainly due to Mags health,
and not having enough time to devote, that i am standing down from organising any events, bus trips, polo top orders, etc.
etc. The only current commitment i will be continuing with is the Belarus trip.
This website will be taken of line in a few weeks or so. The Christmas Doo,
at this point is cancelled unless anyone comes forward to organise.
I would like to thank all who have helped out in the past for there support and thanks i have
had both verbally and by email over the past couple of days.
At this moment in time one or 2 folks have intimated they may take over the running of the bus
trips, all on the mailing list will be notified if this indeed takes place.

Just as an update, as of 6/9/2004, there will be various diferent fellas n lassies taking on
bits and pieces, the Christmas Doo is still on, and i will continue to add to this website... Long may the HBETA continue.....

The Heb Bar TA was started during Euro 96 with just 2 footsoldiers, John Stirling and Barry Maclennan. By France
98 it had doubled, with Jilly and Lotte coming on board. Not long after that we made a flag and with the amount
of chance coverage it got on the telly the ranks were swelled with the arrival of some of our infamous members,
the de Boer Fella, Combat, Sacks, Big Dave J, the Hydes creature, Ravenous Rob, Scotty P the Winks family, a Tartan
Sheep, a Jaggy Bunnet and the list goes on. Of course we cannae forget Fiona the Pheasant (our mascot) and
for a wee trip to the Faroe Islands we hired a plane...... the rest is history. The Tartan Air Force was born!

So.....hello and welcome to the Heb TA website, on the face of it its pretty
pash but thats cause i really havenae a clue what i am doing! This is my first attempt at even trying to build a web site
and all this fancy graphics you see on some sites, well yer no going to be getting them here! We are just trying to come into
the 21st century and hopefully this site will eventually give you a wee bit of info on who we are , who we are, where we come
from, where we come from and info on bus trips some stories from the fellas and lassies and a few pics or so. So thats it
really.

We
go to all the home matches and pretty much all the away matches too. In between times we get up to all sorts of nonsense like
racenights, history trips, and try and fit in a few fund raising events for the TA Sunshine Appeal, but most of all we
are just a social bunch of fellas and lassies who enjoy a pint or two! we have no membership and are not affilated to
any other clubs or organisations except most of us are STC members. If you want to know more just contact us on info@hbeta.org
